Hendaya Kognitif pada Gangguan Cemas

Hendaya kognitif berkaitan dengan gangguan mental seperti gangguan cemas dan depresi. Fungsi kognitif seseorang terdiri dari orientasi, atensi/konsentrasi, penilaian atau kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah, memori dan pembelajaran verbal, memori dan pembelajaran visual/spatial, serta fungsi eksekutif.[1-4]

Studi kohort selama 9 tahun menunjukkan terjadinya penurunan fungsi kognitif global pada pasien dengan gangguan cemas menyeluruh atau generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Sebuah data meta analisis juga menyebutkan peningkatan risiko demensia pada pasien dengan mild cognitive impairment (MCI) yang disertai gangguan cemas.[1-4]
