Komparasi Efektivitas Paracetamol dan NSAID untuk Manajemen Nyeri pada Trauma Muskuloskeletal

Paracetamol dianggap memiliki efek anti nyeri yang inferior dibandingkan obat analgesik non steroid, sehingga NSAID lebih dipilih sebagai manajemen nyeri pada trauma muskuloskeletal. Namun, penelitian terkini menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan antara efek nyeri keduanya.

Trauma muskuloskeletal merupakan salah satu masalah medis yang sering dijumpai di berbagai belahan dunia. Kebanyakan trauma muskuloskeletal terkait dengan jaringan lunak seperti sprain, strain, dan kontusio/memar.[1]

Pada tahun 2020, insidensi cedera muskuloskeletal pada negara pendapatan rendah hingga menengah, diperkirakan 779–1574 per 100.000 orang-tahun. Sekitar 17 juta kunjungan ke instalasi gawat darurat (IGD) dilaporkan terkait kasus cedera muskuloskeletal seperti strain, sprain, kontusio, maupun fraktur.[2,3]
