Depresi Pasca Stroke

Depresi merupakan salah satu komplikasi tersering pasca stroke. Meski demikian, depresi pasca stroke sering kurang terdiagnosis ataupun kurang tertangani. Padahal, depresi pasca stroke merupakan prediktor luaran yang buruk karena akan meningkatkan limitasi dalam aktivitas harian, penurunan kualitas hidup, gangguan kognitif, kematian yang prematur, peningkatan risiko bunuh diri, serta penurunan luaran rehabilitasi maupun luaran fungsi sosial.[1-4]

Diagnosis Depresi Pasca Stroke

Secara umum, depresi pasca stroke ditandai dengan mood yang melankolis atau disforik, maupun tanda vegetatif seperti gangguan tidur, penurunan libido, dan penurunan energi. Diagnosis depresi pasca stroke menurut Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM-5), digolongkan ke dalam gangguan depresi akibat kondisi medis lain.
